I enjoyed today class a lot!! We have learnt the European Portfolio of Languages.
It is true that along the english classes of the degree the teachers have mention the EPL, but it wasn't until today that a teacher has explained to us what it really is.
The EPL is a personal document that has double functions: pedagogical and informative/register. It consists of:
- Passport of Languages - your personal information.
- Linguistic biography - your experience learning a language.
- Dossier - where you keep all your experience.
I like the EPL as much, that I am going to use it with my students. It is a way of encouraging children and also a way of motivating them. In my opinion it will make our students be more focus on what they are doing.
